GEOMETRIC COMBINATORICS
(Satellite conference of the International Congress of Mathematics
Berlin 1998)
Kotor, Yugoslavia, 28. 8. - 3. 9.'98.

Kotor

Organizers:

Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade
Mathematical Institute of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts

Topics:
The conference emphasizes the interplay between geometry (algebraic, discrete, computational, convexity), topology (combinatorial aspects, combinatorial invariants), combinatorics (algebraic, geometric, graph theory) and many other related fields.
In this respect the conference is planned to continue the tradition of the meetings in Stockholm 1989, Jerusalem 1993, Oberwolfach 1995, Berkeley (MSRI) 1997, Barcelona 1997.

Program:
The conference starts on Friday morning, August 28 and lasts till Thursday, September 3. The suggested arrival day is August 27. There will be about twelve plenary talks. Depending on the number of participants, the rest of the conference will be organized in parallel sessions.

Social events :
